How is Natural Honey Made?
Honey is one of nature’s most fascinating products. But do you know how it is created?
1. Hardworking Bees
It all starts with bees collecting nectar from flowers. They fly from plant to plant, absorbing the sweet liquid and storing it n a special “nectar stomach.”
2. Transforming Nectar into Honey
When a bee returns to the hive, it transfers the nectar to other worker bees, who gradually process it with special enzymes. This helps break down complex sugars and makes honey even more beneficial.
3. The Final Step – Sealing the Honeycomb
After fermentation, the bees distribute the honey into honeycombs and seal it with wax. In this form, honey can be stored for years without spoiling!
Once the honey is fully ripened, beekeepers carefully extract the frames, use a centrifuge to release the honey, and pour it into jars – without heating or additives. That’s exactly how we produce honey at ECOBEEZZZ!
